On Friday, February 14, 2020, McCrorey-Liston School of Technology hosted it's first Read Out! It was an awesome event! Every teacher in the school took their class in the hallway to read books to children written by African-American authors or who had African-American protagonist. Children heard poetry performed, participated in hand-clapping activities and discussed the purpose of different books. From settings to characters, from dance moves to moving moments, discussions on books were both fun and motivating. Go the the photo gallery and the video gallery to see pics and clips.
